Scope and Content

FOIA 2015-0189-F contains materials related to correspondence to or from members of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System or Timothy Geithner, the President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, between November 1, 2007, and March 31, 2008, related to Maiden Lane, Term Auction Facility (TAF), Term Securities Lending Facility (TSLF), or Primary Dealer Credit Facility (PDCF).
This FOIA primarily contains remarks, informational memoranda, a press release, travel vouchers, a briefing book and report, and correspondence. There are remarks entitled “Financial Markets, the Economic Outlook, and Monetary Policy” delivered by Ben S. Bernanke on January 10, 2008. Informational memoranda present includes a summary of Federal Reserve actions in 2007 and 2008. Also included are a report and briefing book: a UBS U.S. Economic Perspectives and the Hurricane Katrina/Rita Disaster Recovery Briefing Book produced by the Small Business Administration, respectively. Also present are travel vouchers for Kevin Warsh for trips taken on official business. There is general correspondence to President George W. Bush from US Airways’ pilots, as well as correspondence to and from Congress regarding Federal Home Loan Banks (FHLBanks).
