FOIA 2014-0424-F contains materials related to correspondence between Pope John Paul II and President George W. Bush.

This FOIA primarily contains correspondence and drafts thereof, including thank you letters to Queen Elizabeth, Pope John Paul II, President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, and President Jacques Chirac from President George W. Bush during a July 2001 trip. Also included is a thank you letter from President George W. Bush to Pope John Paul II after a trip in 2004 where Pope John Paul II was presented the Medal of Freedom. There is also a happy birthday letter to Pope John Paul II.

It should be noted that many of the documents listed here have been closed to National Security classification and/or exemptions of the Freedom of Information Act.
