FOIA 2014-0397-F requested materials related to information to, from, or about Karl Rove regarding the book Bush’s Brain by James Moore and Wayne Slater.
This FOIA primarily contains news articles. Textual records consist of letters to and from Karl Rove relating to the book, copies of pages from The Architect (another book by Moore and Slater), copies of routing memos and envelopes, barcode scanning sheets, a student research paper, fax cover sheets, and published articles and book reviews. Electronic records consist mainly of articles and press surrounding the release of Bush’s Brain including publicity and reviews; as well as articles about Karl Rove during his tenure at the White House; correspondence with reporters, particularly Carl Cannon; interview requests; and questions from reporters.
