This FOIA primarily contains brief and longer narrative schedules of the President–Elect and Mrs. Bush. The schedules outline protocol, event times and duration, locations and attendees for events preceding and following the first inauguration of President George W. Bush, including the Presidential Inaugural Parade and Inaugural Balls. The material is organized within binder tabs and includes copies of President George W. Bush’s first official acts – a Proclamation declaring January 21, 2001, a national day of prayer and thanksgiving, a directive concerning ethics, and a list of Cabinet member nominations sent to the Senate.
